ICT Summit, Turkey’s largest and most rooted technology event, will take place in November this year as well. The main theme for the ICT Summit’22 was determined as “Technology Will Save the World”. Lotus Flower was chosen as the main image of the summit this year.

The lotus flower is among the symbols that we encounter the most and have a deep meaning. Having a fresh, clean and clear appearance, Lotus symbolizes cleansing the inner world and finding oneself, and is also known as the symbol of eternal life.

The lotus flower begins to bloom with the sunrise and greets the sun. The lotus flower, which does not repel dust and dirt due to the structure of its leaves, constantly cleans itself and offers a pure and clear appearance at all times. The different colors of the lotus flower also have different meanings. While the pink lotus flower represents enlightenment, the blue lotus flower is the symbol of wisdom.

It is undeniable that knowledge is the basis of the wisdom and enlightenment that this flower represents. The lotus flower, which represents innovation, continuity and purity in processes with its other features, sheds light on the relationship between business and technology today with these values. In today’s world where business and information technologies are intertwined, the most important value for institutions and companies is information. We shall focus on the data we use to create this information, the collection and processing of this data, the useful data that emerges, the effect of the information on our decision-making processes, the elimination of inefficient elements in our business processes thanks to informatics, the formation of more efficient and faster structures, the continuous development of our business with new ideas, etc.

As the symbol of Eternal Life in Mud, we will clean the nature that we have polluted for the sake of technology, again with technology. Technology will solve many problems, from natural disasters, with the right and smart use.

As you can see, we no longer talk about technical issues for our business, we talk about technology and its integration into our business. Now is the time for our company to gain wisdom. Do not forget that the future of institutions that do not have concepts such as wisdom, continuity and innovation will not be very bright.
