A digital audit is being launched in healthcare services. The “Health Facilities Inspection and Monitoring System / Den-İz” application was developed with the joint work of the Ministry of Health, General Directorate of Health Services and General Directorate of Health Information Systems. The Den-İz system can be accessed at www.deniz.saglik.gov.tr.
Within the scope of the ‘Health Facilities Inspection and Monitoring System’ called Den-İz; Planning will include realization and reporting of the results, evaluation, monitoring and coordination of the inspections. The application will be carried out electronically using mobile devices such as tablets, mobile phones, laptops.
Den-İz system, a web/mobile based digital transformation platform, will be used in the regular inspections of private health facilities in the first stage. In addition, the system will also be applied in inspections to be carried out based on notices and complaints or notifications and activities that are contrary to the relevant legislation and the policies and regulations determined by the Ministry in the written and visual media, audio broadcasts, social networking sites, electronic media and similar communication channels. The application will start as of January 1, 2022 to be used by all city health directorate inspection teams across Turkey. Later, health facilities under the Ministry of Health and universities will be gradually included in the system.
Implementations against the legislation, administrative sanctions and the relevant legislation and provisions that form the basis of these sanctions, which are detected in the inspections to be carried out within the scope of the Den-İz system, can be seen instantly on the system and applied in real time. The inspections carried out and the administrative sanctions applied will be monitored instantly and the results of the inspections will be reported instantly. In this way, effective and rapid decision making capacity of the central and city organizations will be increased and cost savings will be achieved due to labor, time and paper, printed forms and similar stationery materials. The Den-İz system can be accessed at www.deniz.saglik.gov.tr. City health directorate officials and supervisors will have instant access to the Call Center within the General Directorate of Information Systems of the Ministry of Health in order to quickly respond to all questions and support requests regarding the implementation process of the Den-İz system.
With the inspections to be carried out within the scope of Den-İz, every transaction will be controlled at every stage in a systematic, planned, programmed and comprehensive manner in accordance with the requirements of the digital age. A corporate inspection memory will be created with the Den-İz system, which allows health facilities to reach retrospective audit results. Administrative sanctions to be applied will be calculated automatically by the system and comparisons will be made, thus reducing the margin of error to zero. Infinitely large data sources, which are created as a result of inspections and administrative sanctions and the analysis of this data will be made available to health policy makers more quickly and comprehensively. It will be ensured that the inspection processes of health facilities can be monitored from the central database. A paperless inspection of health facilities will be carried out, and digital transformation will be completed in all its processes. All data can be analyzed and compared via the interactive interface. Inspection of health facilities and results will be monitored and reported instantly. Inspection processes will be regular, transparent and informative with e-mails and alerts generated by the system.
