The interest shown by Anatolian companies, who want to reveal the size of their regions and cities by taking place in “Turkey’s Top 500 ICT Companies Research – ICT 500”, continues to increase compared to previous years. Through applications made so far, it is predicted that 50% of the new applications will be made by companies operating in Anatolia this year.

Noting that they have analyzed the applications made so far to the ICT 500 research, which will take place for the 22nd time this year with the “Unicorns of Tomorrow at ICT 500 Today!” motto, excluding İstanbul, M2S Araştırma Pazarlama A.Ş. General Manager Özlem Unan stated that the average growth of 10 companies with the highest net sales income in Anatolia was 52% and the growth in Anatolia was 44%.

Benefiting from the market place

While the companies included in the ICT 500 research are listed according to their figures and service areas, they will be able to reveal their size in their own regions with the ranking made on the basis of cities and increase their recognition in their own region. In addition, thanks to the research, which has the feature of bringing entrepreneurs and investors together, businesses operating in Anatolia will be able to benefit from the ICT 500 market place to receive investment. While the great interest shown by the companies reveals that ICT does not only mean something to big cities, it will also be an opportunity for companies in Anatolia to show themselves in the city tables.

Highest growth is in Central Anatolia

According to the information given by M2S General Manager Özlem Unan; when early applications from outside of İstanbul are examined, we see that 8 out of 10 companies have grown in a challenging year like 2020. Saying “Of course, when it comes to Anatolia, both the fields of activity and the cities of companies vary a lot.”; Unan expressed that 7 of the top 10 companies that show the highest growth operate in the Central Anatolia Region and 3 of them operate in the Aegean Region. Unan continues as: “When we analyze the companies with the highest growth, we see that there are companies that primarily serve the defense and energy sector. In addition, companies providing data analytics, IoT and security solutions have grown again. The highest growth is above 450%. In addition, it is possible to say that 50% of the new companies that already entered the list have applied from Anatolian cities.”
