New perspective in support of startups
İstanbul-based early stage investment company H2O Invest was established with the joint initiative of 12 business people who have been operating in the Turkish business world for many years. Focusing on startups in the artificial intelligence, fintech and gaming sectors, H2O Invest aims to be the first stop for entrepreneurs who will manage human oriented digital transformation. H2O Invest Chairperson Osman Çalışkan stated that they were established to combine the investment in early stage ventures with moral support and that they aim to create a new model in Turkey, and said that: “A newly established startup should receive sufficient support. Benefiting from previous experience saves time. We also share our experiences with startups at the initial stage, guide them and act as patrons.” Underlining that they share their experiences with entrepreneurs as they invest, Çalışkan emphasized that they believe that entrepreneurs are the lifeblood of development.
By establishing the right ecosystem and accelerating pre-seed and seed-stage companies, H2O Invest prepares startups for the next investment round. Before investing in startups, it focuses first on the team, then on the benefit, idea and market opportunity of the startup. H2O Invest, which changed the perspective of 4 startups in just 12 months, includes Augelab (no-code-based image processing artificial intelligence platform), Gotocure (health travel planning), Enter (intelligent visitor management system), Octopus (artificial intelligence focused digital content production).
