Investment in Zetamatrix from İskefe Holding
İskefe Holding carries out studies in three R&D centers with the vision of increasing the comfort of life. İskefe Holding invested in Zetamatrix, which was established with the initiatives of Koç University and Boğaziçi University Biomedical Engineering Institute Assistant Professor Savaş Taşoğlu and Koç University Faculty of Medicine Department of Biophysics and Koç University Translational Medicine Center Assistant Professor Emel Sokullu to produce biomaterials suitable for bioprinters. İskefe Holding R&D Director Aykut Sancaklı gave the following information:
“As a company that allocates 10% of its turnover to R&D investments, we contribute to the development of innovative and high technology products, especially in tissue engineering applications and we make all our investments in this direction. Along with technological developments, all scientists are working on artificial organ production with bioprinters. Zetamatrix, a start-up venture, will produce biomaterials suitable for bioprinters used in artificial organ production. We believe that Zetamatrix, which we provide raw material and investment support, will carry out successful studies in the field of health sciences and biomaterials.”
